Centro Médico Quirúrgico Boliviano Belga (C.M.Q.B.B.) is an Institution where for the last 33 years an excellent medicine and surgery is being practiced but with no doubt the best cardiology and cardiac surgery in Bolivia. It was created in order to let all Bolivian people have a first class medical care as a non-profit private hospital. Since 1973,  many medical ‘firsts’ were performed in Bolivia and until now it continues to be the leader in many fields including treatment of multiple cardiac valve disease, treatment of angina and acute myocardial infarction, diagnosis and management of congenital heart disease and other achievements in thoracic and cardiovascular surgery, digestive surgery, new laboratory techniques for diagnosis and follow up of  disease and implementation of post graduate training programs and medical residency to form specialists.
