Dra. Silvia Ureña Cordero, MD:

Graduated at Universidad Mayor de San Simón, Cochabamba, Bolivia in  1995.  Post graduate training in Cardiology and Paediatric Cardiology at BIOCOR, Belo Horizonte – Brazil in 1999. Further training in Echocardiography at BIOCOR, Belo Horizonte – Brazil in 2000. Her current post is Head of the Unit of Echocardiography. Dr. S. Urena is also a Consultant Physician in Paediatric Cardiology at Hospital Infantil Albina Patiño. Her main interests are paediatric cardiology and pre natal diagnosis of congenital heart disease. Dr. S. Urena is a Member of the Bolivian Society of Cardiology, Committee of Echocardiography of the Interamerican Society of Cardiology and Chapter of Paediatric Cardiology at the Bolivian Society of Cardiology.
